Road Safety Week
This week, the children at North Hinksey Primary School have been learning all about road safety as part of National Road Safety Week. Our amazing School Council, who have taken on the role of Junior Travel Ambassadors, led a special Gathering to teach the school the importance of Stop, Look, Listen and Think when crossing roads or cycling near traffic.
It was wonderful to see our young leaders take charge and share their knowledge with the rest of the school community. They explained the hazards that exist when walking or cycling near the road, and demonstrated the vital steps everyone needs to take to stay safe.
