In the Early Years, our Cygnus class marks a significant milestone in your child's educational adventure. Through a carefully crafted blend of play-based exploration and targeted adult-led activities, we create an environment that sparks curiosity and fosters a love for learning. Whether inside the classroom or outdoors, your child will be engaged in a variety of stimulating activities, laying the foundation for their educational journey.

Our Year 1 class, Delphinus focus on embedding the key skills and behaviours necessary for learning. Each morning, Year 1  have a focus on phonics, handwriting and number facts, before learning through stories and maths using practical resources. Both classes follow the same curriculum topics in the afternoon, with a variety of Art, History, Geography, PE, RE, Design and Technology, and more, to ensure that there is progression between the two classes as the children develop.
