Our Key Stage 1 classes focus on embedding the key skills and behaviours necessary for learning. Each morning, Year 1 and 2 have a focus on phonics, handwriting and number facts, before learning through stories and maths using practical resources. Both classes follow the same curriculum topics in the afternoon, with a variety of Art, History, Geography, PE, RE, Design and Technology, and more, to ensure that there is progression between the two classes as the children develop.
