Corvus and Draco - Reflect and Review

Dear Parents, 

What a busy last week of term in Corvus and Draco! Our visit to the Ashmolean marked the beginning of the Oxford Song project. The children were guided around the museum, looking at items related to their upcoming topic on Global Trade. The children have begun to turn what they discovered into some songs which they will perform to you on July 16th at the Ashmolean, this will happen in the afternoon, we think around 1.30pm but we'll confirm the time next term. When they weren't exploring the Ashmolean they explored St Giles with Mr Waldock. They learned about the history of different parts of the area and compared historic engravings and pictures to how they look now. Some parts have changed a lot, and others not much at all!

Thank you to those who have been bringing in their forms each week - Draco have made it to the Isle of Mull and Corvus have made it to Workington! The distances are being counted each week, don’t forget to bring in your child’s form for the first Monday back with distances for any movement over half term!
