Great Athletes - Fred Afrifa

In partnership with 'Great Athletes', we’re very excited to be welcoming top athlete Fred Afrifa to the school on Tuesday 21st October.

Fred will be leading a fitness circuit with all pupils, followed by a motivational assembly, and Q&A session. The aim of the event is to inspire the pupils to be more physically active, but just as importantly, encourage them to discover and pursue their passion in life.

The event is provided without cost to the school however there is an opportunity for children to complete the fitness circuits as a sponsored event for 'Great Athletes', with some of this being given to school for new sports equipment. There is no expectation that families do this, children will take part in the event whether they raise money or not. Today, a sponsorship form will come home explaining how children can do this, but it equally has some great puzzles and colouring so please feel free to use it for this purpose!

Please make sure that your children come to school on the event day with their PE Kits, we're looking forward to welcoming Fred to our school.
