Pegasus - Reflect and Review

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had a great week of learning in Pegasus class. In Maths, we have begun using Fractions to recognise halves and quarters, drawing shapes and arrays to show these. In English, we have been writing a short narrative describing when Lucy steps through the wardrobe from The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe. 

In Music, we have been practising our songs from the Hansel and Gretel opera where the children did some amazing performances. We have also composed music based on a snowy landscape using a range of percussion instruments to reflect the sounds and mood of a winter wonderland. 

Next week:

In Maths, we will be using fractions to find a third, the whole and recognise the difference between unit and non-unit fractions. 

Please remember to do the Maths homework ready to hand in on Monday - we’re aware of an error on the label, but if you stick to the order of the pages due then you shouldn’t go wrong.
