Pegasus - Reflect and Review

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had an exciting first week of learning in Pegasus class. In Maths, we have been using arrays to create our own multiplication and division sentences. In English, we have been making inferences about our new whole class text The Lost Homework.

In Geography, we have been using mapping to understand compass directions through blindfolding each other and giving directions to find objects in the classroom. Then we used a map of North Hinksey School to find different locations as a treasure hunt. In History, we have been looking at C.S. Lewis (author of The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe) as he studied at Oxford University. We created our own timeline of his life.

Next week:

Please remember to do the Maths homework ready to hand in on Monday - we’re aware of an error on the label, but if you stick to the order of the pages due then you shouldn’t go wrong.

Due to World Book Day (see information from 6th February on website/Greenhouse App), there will be no outdoor learning for Pegasus this week.

Please see the MCAS announcement from earlier this week regarding the new way in which children should enter and leave the site for drop off and pick up. This begins on Monday.
