Pegasus - Reflect and Review
Dear Parents and Carers,
Pegasus have been incredibly flexible and patient with the changes this week due to the weather. In Maths, we have been creating our own fraction walls to understand the equivalence between ½ and 2/4. In English, we drew and wrote our own recipe (explanation text) of how to make vegetable couscous. Later in the week, we created our own vegetable couscous in DT, using a range of techniques: chopping and peeling vegetables as well as stirring and mixing ingredients. We have also designed and made our own toy cars using cardboard boxes, wheels and axles.
Next week:
Please remember to do the Maths homework ready to hand in on Monday.
Next week, in Maths we will be revisiting using grouping and sharing to divide and apply this to find fractions of amounts. As part of our relationships and sex education learning, we will be learning about the real names for body parts and the differences between boys and girls.
